It's a POWder Day

Good Morning it's 26 degrees and in the past 22 hours we have received 24" of wonderful, white POW. I walked into waist deep powder this morning just to see how it was in areas not groomed here and it's deep and wonderful. If you are a sledhead or skier/snowboarder grab the fat ones and get out and enjoy the best snow we have had here all winter. We have a 3.75' base and 6.5' on our gauge for the first time all winter which isn't compacted yet. There were lots of sledder's out yesterday while it was puking snow over 2"+ most of the day so the road was used and packed by sleds but not formally groomed since last Fri night. This is what we have been looking for to salvage the rest of winter and after a very light Jan/Feb snow we have received over 3' of snow in the last 16 days. Don't put those sleds or skis up just yet. For those performance sledder's no ice scratchers needed now, just remember Power is your friend in deep POWder. Get out and enjoy this new snow and the mountains, it does a body and sprit good.
