5" Overnight
Good Morning it's a balmy 31 degrees and we received 5" of snow overnight. The groomer arrived this morning about 2:30 and has groomed all the way into Trinity making a few passes around the area that had been prepped for the dogs for the Cascade Quest coming here today after noon. For those dog teams it's wet snow and never got cold enough to set it up. Run hard, run swift, and enjoy the snow, Good Luck to all of the teams today and rest of the weekend.

Don't know about dog sleds and teams, but we made it up there. Didn't want to disturb you or we thought the dog teams. They arrived much later I think.
Kira was much disappointed, as was I, not to be greeted by the happy dogs you have.

Ted you should have come in they didn't get in until noon. My dogs were inside after that, since we had 2 teams in at 12:30 so couldn't let them just run then. You could have come up and even walked in whether the dogs are here or not, we just usually keep sleds out but had friends come up early to ride POW, they just left before noon. Most teams didn't start coming in until dark. Now you know...Peace
Boy, it was sure nice sledding. My riding partner from years past is now riding on her own.
Funny thing: her older sister is very deliberate and is more quiet. Yet, she is the one getting into snowmobile trouble.
This one who is very aggressive personality actually rides very slow because she doesn't want to get hurt. Go figure that one out.

Come on up next time you are here. That happens sometimes when you feel the power in a sled, it just short circuits the brain and goes for thrill. The more they ride the more they will try some of the best riders I know are female and it's hard to get hurt too bad in snow, Believe me I've rolled plenty of times but love it and keep going back. Peace
