Warmer night & 11" more snow

Well the new year is starting off with plenty of snow.  Yesterday the snow was fairly dry and you couldn't make snowballs without using a ice chest to get a snowball 4", it was very fluffy.  The temps continued to climb throughout the day and this morning we are at 30 degrees we had a little over 11" of new snow, even though this is much wetter snow compacting slowly and we have 6.75' on our gauge.  As of this writing we are getting frozen rain/sleet snow mix.  The trees are heavy with  new snow and look beautiful and with all the new snow there still haven't been but maybe 10 sledders out this far where the real snow is.  Get out and enjoy the white wonderland  we call home, it'll do you  some good and a great way to start 2010.  Peace
