Good Morning it's April 2 and we have gotten 22" since the 31st. We've already gotten more snow in Apr than all of Feb this year. Woke up day before yesterday with 11" of new POW and then this morning we had another 11" and it's still snowing. When I came home last Thur the trail was sorta torn up until Chikamin due to sledder's tearing it up while it was wet. From there to Basalt there had only been a couple of sleds on it and it was in better shape but from Basalt out to Trinity was very smooth and fast and we made first tracks. Didn't see any sledders here all weekend so the road was still in great shape now it just has another 22"+ on top of it to give a better cushion. This latest snow is a combination of wet and very dry snow. Normally getting this much snow so fast isn't such a good thing since it doesn't have time to bond to older snow increasing the risk of slides in the area. It's beautiful out there get out and enjoy it just be smart in where you play...Peace

Gregg,
How is the snow depth down low by the snow park? Does it look like it will last another week or two? Sounds like the snow up toward you should be good. Thanks for the update.
Ron
I was told yesterday afternoon by a couple of sledders that there was about 8-10" of snow at the snowpark a of yesterday but not sure how warm it got down there, will have snw here for a while yet into Late May/ June if the temps hold and not get too warm too fast.
Hi Gregg, It was nice to meet and visit with you yesterday. What an incredible area. We had a nice, fast ride back to the Snopark since we were able to follow our own tracks. Parking lot was very slushy and down to the surface in most places. Hope to run into you again when we check the place out in the summer months. Take care up there.

Toodles till next year.
